They can't provide examples because then it will be obvious how right-wing subreddits get banned for extreme things like anti-semitism and death treats, while left-wing subreddits get banned for saying that Henry Kissinger is a war criminal or something similar.

They just need left-wing subreddits to ban in order to appear "balanced", it wasn't about breaking the rules at all.

What in the world are you talking about? I constantly see people *calling for violence* in huge subs like /r/politics and admins aren’t even close to even bringing it up with them.
