This is really going to change the game, a lot of people liked making text posts because it *didn't give them karma* and they were proud of the "1" next to link.

I'm curious as to how this will inflate karma.

Yeah I've done it plenty of times. You make a text post because you don't really want much attention.

It also helps mitigate the flood of "You're lying you're only doing this for karma!!!" comments.

Oh god like TIFU and LPT weren't shitty enough.

I've been diligently working on comment karma through quality posts for four years to get into Century Club.

I accidentally stumbled on a subreddit that is a game and you have to post an image to play the game and I did and I got up votes even tho I downvoted myself.

I'm sad that now in order to keep my 1 I have to avoid posting at all. Or make an alt to post the title and then comment my own alt to post the contents.
