View submission: Karma for text-posts (AKA self-posts)
By my calculations, we'll be giving away an 1.5 million karma daily, increasing the K0 karma supply by over 35%. With the effect of fractional repost karmawhoring, this will easily double the K1 karma supply and lead to rampant karma inflation.
As a result, the mods of /r/CenturyClub should seriously consider pinning the entry threshold to a less volatile currency, such as the ZWL or GBP

Or we need to make different clubs for commenters and filthy linkers (and text-whores) since comment karma has been extremely non-volatile.

Thank you for that, /u/Drunken_Economist .
Partly based on your analysis, combined with my own existing bearish outlook, **I am shorting Karma**.

In order to bring down inflation, we will be introducing contractionary policies including a reduction in upvoting and increasing interest rates (e.g. posts will need to be more interesting to earn upvotes).

Or we'll just bar the doors and call it 'at capacity'.

This is really going to change the game, a lot of people liked making text posts because it *didn't give them karma* and they were proud of the "1" next to link.
I'm curious as to how this will inflate karma.

/r/CenturyClub is like the gold standard; it's threshold is fixed. What you want is /r/top.

Good Boy Points is the safest long-term investment vehicle.
At a compounded return rate of 3 tendies per quarter, growth is pretty exponential. Best to get in on GBP before the rest of the market capitalizes.

NO YOU DON'T MOTHERFUCKER. I'm close enough to 100k comment karma that it's starting to feel attainable. Don't you dare move the goalposts now.

I'm more upset that I don't get karma for previous posts. I should get back karma for all that past shitposting.
