Actually I see a ton of bigotry (open sexism and racism) in the larger subs. World news, pics, ask reddit.

Many of them are upvoted.

Yes, on basically all of the default subs it's a regular occurrence and it doesn't get downvoted unless it goes against the circlejerk.
