If he did that in the state of Victoria in Australia. He would be charged with a criminal offence.

I’m not sure about that. Just my guess, but I reckon a charge would only occur if the salute occurred in a context that made the meaning clear. Like an aggressive mob in the street chanting or something. Elon The Idiot made his motion without any real context as far as I know. All thinking people criticise him for it, but it’s hard to say an arm motion by itself should be a criminal offence.

Just a troll. And taking attention away from other hideous things like pardoning Jan 6 aggressors.
