Since the Admins have never removed the mod of a subreddit except for illegalities, brigading, or vote manipulation. I doubt they'll make a move, the community is ultimately helpless. The communities only choice is to defect to /r/xkcdcomic.

Does the xkcd community (aside from the meta-redditors) even know about this issue? If they are removing all references to it in the sub, there's no obvious way for them to learn about it.

Didn't May May June happen precisely because they **did** remove a mod for a reason other than this? All skeen did was... nothing.
