Check out the sidebar:

"Physics" links to TRP

"Ask Science" links to /r/conspiracy

"Ask Historians" links to /r/holocaust

"Humor" links to /r/nolibswatch

That is certainly some petty shit.

Everything is normal.

Wow an authority figure from /r/Conspiracy is using that line. We are through the looking glass here people.

I think if /u/soccer just didn't do anything this would blow over. Instead he does probably the thing most likely to stir the drama even more. This is a great time for dramanauts.

Former /r/conspiracy mod...

He's actually a current mod right now. /conspiracy has no shame.

Every time this issue is brought to the forefront, soccer changes the sidebar and then changes it back a few weeks later once the hubbub has died down. Are you here to tell us that won't happen again? Is there any reason to stay here instead of going to /r/xkcdcomic?

/u/StrictScrutiny living up to his name.

Also /wjkm, I'll never forgive you for beating me to this drama.

Edit: /SRS is /Flytape's story,[1] and he's sticking to it.[2]

Does he actually think he can scream /SRS loud enough that people will think that's what happened?

Edit2: I don't want to panic anyone, but /Flytape may have super powers.

Just FYI, as of right now Flytape's claim that "there are no links to anything off topic in the sidebar" is a lie. The "links" to /r/Physics, /r/AskScience, /r/AskHistorians and /r/Humor all respectively lead to /r/theredpill, /r/conspiracy, /r/Holocaust and /r/nolibswatch.

Kicked mod here. This has just gone from shitty to shittier. Randall Munroe has something in mind for these guys if things don't change. I'm not going to say what it is, because I don't want to spoil the fun.

Edit: Also, the users of /r/xkcd are now reposting every anti-conspiracy theory xkcd ever made on /r/xkcd. I love these guys.

Edit 2: A response to him blaming me for bringing SRS into the situation.

Edit 3: The mods are proving that /r/xkcd is a free speech zone in the best way possible.

Edit 4: Here's some evidence of their censorship. Thread before.[1] Thread after.[2]

I love the fact that /u/Flytape says

What could possibly be done? Its a very healthy community that was drama free before wyboth attached it to an SRS drama storm.

And then get's a reply not even a minute later saying

This five-month old post[1] on /r/subredditdrama indicates otherwise.

Beginning to think /u/soccer is one of The Three Racist Toddler's in the Overcoat mentioned in previous threads.

I understand that you do not need to be a white supremacist to be a holocaust denier but what affiliated group would be closely aligned to your ideological/political beliefs?
> Please keep this SRS drama out of here.

Literally only SRS doesn't deny the Holocaust.

As far as drama is concerned, this is like getting two items to fall out of a vending machine and then winning the lottery. They could not have picked a better person to mod. Glorious!

Fun little dash of salt to this popcorn. Someone posted Comic 258[1] but it was removed an hour or so later.

1: http://xkcd.com/258/

For those who can't see the comic, it criticizes conspiracy theorists.

That's like removing toilet paper from the bathroom. Now you have 2 pieces of shit and no toilet paper to clean it up.

I love how every crazy idiot on this website (and a few crazy idiots in this sub) assume that SRS is secretly controlling **all of reddit** so absolutely any time anyone says anything negative about crazy idiocy it is **clearly** the fault of invisible SRS feminist invasion brigades and not, y'know, general distaste for crazy idiocy.

FFS it's a meta sub with barely 40k subscribers. They are not the secret puppetmasters of reddit, you dorks. Although I can understand how it would be comforting to assume that every person who downvotes you is doing it not because your post was bad and you should feel bad but rather Reptoid Illuminati Conspiracies.

It's weird that /r/conservative was so much more classy about this exact same controversy.
