Before what i assume you mean 7th gen mil shooters most of the prolific video game devolopers were male or studios were majority male ID guys were male, majority of the japanese studios were mostly male looking glass was mostly male. Etc. Honestly only ones i can remember are heineman and that woman on core design team. If anything percentage of female devs are higher today than ever
