What the hell is Eviolite?

If the Pokemon holding it isn't the final evolution stage of that Pokemon, then it receives a 50% boost to it's Defense and Special Defense stats. Since Porygon2 has one more evolution (PorygonZ), then it receives the boost.
Now's the time to get into it again. There's gonna be a new type in the 6th gen games, for the first time since Gold and Silver.
