I’m a year and half sober.
I’ll be honest, I’m not really enjoying it that much. I’ve suffered an injury that doesn’t allow me to train the way used to and without that being sober has been pretty meh.
I miss being able to have a drink on a night out and dance the night away but I know I’m not able to control myself not go beyond that hence why I’ve stopped.
Being sober has its perks but I’d be lying to myself if I say that I didn’t miss it.

You're being honest not only with me but with yourself. I'm sorry that doesn't bring you Joy in the pride you should have about that...
