View submission: COVID denialism and policy clarifications
The way I see it is like this:
For regular people, the main thing that stands between us and the things we most want and want to do is money.
For rich people, they've got the money covered. The hurdle for them then becomes regulation and the law. That's what stands between them and being able to do what ever they want to.
It's why they so often end up as libertarians/conservatives/hostile to democracy. They want to be able to control things themselves, with their money and influence, or for there to be less/no laws and regulation. They don't like being told "no".

"Libertarian fascists" is so... well, idiotic yet 100% correct.
