View submission: COVID denialism and policy clarifications
Reddit is located in the US and therefore needs to abide by US laws.
Further the FDA is certainly considered by most pharmaceutical researchers and producers as one of the major governing bodies in the area. A significant number of biotech and pharma companies are based in the US, such as covid vaccine producers Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.
So is it the end-all-be-all? No. But is there consensus at the moment that ivermectin has not been proven to be safe and/or effective against covid with the data available today? Yes.
