View submission: How long is your Thanksgiving celebration?
Maybe 6 hours. We host Thanksgiving at our house, and the local-ish relatives come over around 11am. Dinner is on the table at 1pm. By 5pm everyone is gone. I”m very introverted, so I’m completely worn out by the time they leave. I cannot imagine trying to survive DAYS of togetherness.

lol I totally understand what you’re saying. I’m extroverted and I host and I love having people here for days and days. We’re still celebrating and tomorrow is a whole other day.
That said we have introverts in our family who get exhausted. Because we choose to do what we do we also try to create space so people can leave and be by themselves when they need to be
Even as an extrovert when I get together with my big family, which is several times a year, I always take time for myself. Long walks or runs are essential for keeping my sanity.
