View submission: Missing iMessages?

So…this will likely depend on WHEN they deleted the messages. Deleting it right after it was sent is a lot harder to prove than if they just now deleted it. Do you have any other Apple products like a Mac or iPad? If so, log in and see if the messages are on there. Do you backup your iPhone to the cloud? If so, it’s possible that the original messages are on there. The last thing you can try is contacting your phone’s carrier. Some phone carriers keep a history of your text messages. Even if they don’t keep the actual text messages, they might still have data showing the teacher text you first and responded to you. The data should have the dates and times that they contacted you. You could at least prove that the teacher was deleting the texts after they sent them

Ouch yeah I only have my old iPhone 8 and nothing else with Apple. I don’t think it’s been backup in a while because my iCloud is full… I’ll try to check if I have a detailed list of text exchanges on my phone account but I don’t think I can find that unless I contact the carrier, right? But I guess I’ll wait to see if the secretary says we’re actually in trouble or if it’s just that my kid needs to go back to class. What’s sucks is that I can’t prove why we didn’t go to class but I guess that they don’t know the teacher is getting paid for hours she’s not always doing and I also can’t tell them that without proof…
