View submission: do people with schizophrenia who also need glasses see their hallucinations clear or blurry when not wearing glasses?

not a professional or anything but infections themselves can cause hallucinations and delirium, especially in older people, so it’s likely the hallucinations will only be as temporary as the infection is. you should probably consult a doctor anyway though since it’s a new symptom

Thanks for your reply! The doctor said it could be senile psychosis. But I thought it was very strange that the hallucinations started right after the infection (which is due to a scrape near her knee). And then I came across this reply which describes what she’s going through.

Is it like the infection causes a fever which causes the hallucinations? Or is it more direct than that?
