Yes and it sucks for those who didn’t vote for him. The UAW tried to tell them. As for those who wanted him in there? I hope they get everything they voted for.

While I don’t think hurting Michigan automakers was a goal of the tariff, I think as a side effect it would be viewed as a huge benefit to the new admin and it’s allies, as it will shore up Tesla sales and reduce income to unions. Anything that hurts Michigan would probably be viewed favorably.
