Ordered some blackout curtains from Amazon and now my sleep is even cozier.
Decided to go meatless for dinner these last few nights and cook with tofu. I'm into it. And it's either agreeing with me or I have my diet under control in general, because I've been feeling slim and light and fast the last couple days.
I've been waking up with enough time to stretch and work out here at home in the morning, and in the afternoons at work I sneak off for a half hour walk. Seems like it's all adding up.
Last night I went to Ross. Seeing how cheap things are there is a good reminder of how companies get away with charging whatever they think people will pay. Betsey Johnson sheets marked down to just under $20 from over $100, etc.
I picked up this large, two-toned, gray and dull brass piece of pottery for my ever expanding prayer plant for just a few bucks. I think the vibrant red and green of the plant will look really cool in the mostly gray pot. Gonna replant that guy this weekend.
So far so good this week!

I've also been trying to eat a bit more veg and I've had good success with the Beyond Meat "ground beef" crumbles. Quite a bit more expensive than tofu, but I use it in ground beef recipes (pasta, chili) and it's near-as-makes-no-difference.

I want to do the curtain thing. But I like the cold air too much to block the windows.

Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Homegoods...those are all my jams. I cannot be trusted in ANY of those stores.

i've got a houseplant problem lol. I'm not allowed to buy any more until one of these dies. I've finally found a good mix of plants that work with the limited light in my house and they're all doing well right now.

I looked through your sordid posting history for that hike, no dice. Marshall/Burlington have good snags sometimes.... Was so mad when I found Penguin shirts for 14.99 in every size except mine.
