Can confirm. I've spent many hours down there with various charities feeding folk, giving out socks and blankets and shit, and providing pro bono legal aid. It's not easy staying at KARM, they say.
I know it's difficult to deal with people with a high incidence of addiction and mental illness, but here is a thought... maybe we should have a plan other than jails and homeless shelters to combat these problems to begin with.

Let's hear your plan?. Because other than homeless shelters, non-consensual mental care is about the only other option.
