View submission: Pixel 8 intermittent green screen help
I swear I should just keep a copypasta for every time I see these posts.
I experienced this and had it repaired. Use Google's help site and go through the steps that will lead to seeing what repair shops near you are certified. Set up an appointment. All P8 users are under extended warranty because it's a known issue (green static/green vertical line, some sort of grounding failure). It will be free. My job took about 2-3 hours. Make sure to put it in repair mode before handing off.
Rub the bottom of the bezel with light-medium force to make it go away temporarily so you can use it until then.

Dam that's wild, I just got this issue, contacted Google customer support and they said they couldn't help due to being out of warranty, so I spent $180 on an ifixit kit. Haven't used the kit (screen is normal 90% of the time) but I'll see if I can return it and chat with Google support again.

Ubreakifix gave me so many issues trying to get them to fix it. Call the store and have them order parts before taking it in. I eventually gave up with my local store and sent it into Google. Luckily I still had my P5 to use for a week
