View submission: Unpopular opinion: I actually like the American everyday style
Japan kind of circumvented this is a way, in that their casual street style is extremely comfortable/baggy while still being covered up. And there is even a feminine version as well especially in the newer generation. Of course this is still the minority as uniformity is still very much a thing, and not wanting to stand out in japan. So all the business men are going to dress the same in suits even when its hot af outside, and the women will wear long dresses. But I think it's shifting to something alot better for the new generation
