Well I usually wear jeans or a skirt, a fitting blouse and makeup. At least my shoes are comfortable :/

Do you work as flight attendent? Because otherwise I don't know why you wear a blouse and have to use make up.

I'n swiss, and you could think because we work more and earn more that we have strict rules. But I was never forced to wear make up - I do make up around 3-5times a year, not more. And I wear my blouse not even yearly.

I always wear black stretch jeans, they are vety confy and look good - I wear them for job interviews as well and got a job xD Then I wear a shirt (mostly baggy shirts) and I'm done. And I wear sneakers - very cheap one, because the expensive one do not last longer (sole is down in 5-8 months anyway). I do my hair (I have bangs, so they are high maintenance hair) and brush my teeth.

The hardest rules I had were when I worked as a baker, I was not allowed to have my nosepiercing in and we had grey shirts and grey pants for work - work uniform. And in my previous company I was not allowed to wear anything with prints on it. So no bandshirts ect. But usually in the workfield I work nobody really cares how you are dressed.

What would people in Germany side eye you? Can you help me understand what’s going through the German mind when they see that?
