I’m at a gas station. They def won’t give me u employment. I never done unemployment but what I heard is. The job has to approve u for it. So if u quit . They don’t even have to answer it’s a auto no to unemployment.

You're likely not eligible for the standard state unemployment, but the additional $600/week through July furnished by the CARES Act covers a lot of otherwise ineligible groups, including if you quit due to COVID-19. Now that ends in July so people are likely retaining their jobs for security after July, as jobs will be harder to come by in a recession, but if you need to get off the floor ASAP, check out unemployment now that the CARES Act has passed.

I believe you are incorrect. Unemployment is serviced through the state gov and you apply to their unemployment program. Once filed your employer can contest and provide evidence of why, then the gov could choose to reject the claim. Then you can refile and the process repeats.
It’s anecdotal but I have heard plenty of stories about people applying multiple times before being able to get on.
