No, I think it's best to not have it be so predictable for us. We already earn way more than most others, so this change is very fair and only really hurts us near the top while benefitting everyone else. This is such a clear yes for me.
And this makes it a lot harder for alt account rings to have a target to hit, I think. Also it makes it easier for these exploiters to go over the cap across 2 or more of their alts, meaning they break the sub's rules.

Dynamic solution is harder to manipulate or take advantage of, affecting only the very few top seems fair, as when the 15k limit was implanted they were more users that were effected (farming had less limits at the time if I'm remembering correctly...)
