View submission: What’s the weirdest “unwritten rule” everyone just follows?
And all facing forward. Unless it’s absolutely packed and you literally had to turn sideways to fit. But if you go to get in an elevator and there’s one person in there just facing one of the walls instead of facing out, I’m betting most people will either get in tentatively but watch the person / try to keep clear of them and get off quickly or will just NOPE and wait for a different elevator.

I remember seeing a prank show where a bunch of actors would get into an elevator that already had one member of the public in it and stand facing the back, but otherwise acting completely normally like anyone would in the elevator.
The person would look uncomfortable for a while, then mirror what the actors were doing and face the back also.
