What is relationship ocd? Genuinely curious as I have personal compulsions in other ares of life but never thought to look at them this way before.

OCD can shift from focus to focus. So you can have it all your life but when you’re a kid it’s focused on your grades and performance. Then as a young adult it shifts to food and relational and then as a parent it shifts to harm focused, etc…

Basically OCD tends to attack whatever you really care about. It’s a thought pattern thing that you need to break. And relationships are one of those focuses that some people with OCD struggle with.
