View submission: Does Slimming World make sense?

Problem is, if you are used to overeating, which most people doing slimming world are or they wouldn’t be overweight, you won’t feel satisfied in a calorie deficit. You will feel hungry, you will want to eat more because your body is used to it.. so it’s not a great motto really..

Except that people who are used to overeating aren't usually eating big portions of regular food, they're putting away multi packs of crisps and chocolate, cans of beer, sausage rolls and packs of donuts from Greggs. Even a big helping of pasta isn't going to have anything like the calories they were previously eating.

“White carbs” are also the *least* filling foods - but white pasta is “free”
