Same! My MIL once went off on my husband because she was convinced he wasn't doing enough around the house (I was home with the baby - honestly can't remember now if it was the first or second kid) and I just remember her very indignantly demanding "Well, who scrubs the toilets?!?" - this after he'd spent almost an hour explaining to her that we had a very comfortable division of labor and we both felt good about what we each contribute to our household (which was and is 100% true!). I'll never forget the look on my husband's face when he deadpan replied to her "A lovely woman named Wendy" (who was the housekeeper he hired when I was put on bedrest during my first pregnancy and she stayed with us for years until we moved to a new state. We both still miss her). It completely took the wind out of MIL's sails and she just replied "oh" and then changed the subject. It's been years since then and she hasn't brought it up again.
Like, I get it, you had a sh*t marriage and ended up divorcing FIL because you hated being a housewife, but your son isn't his dad and I'm not you. We live VERY different lives!
There's nothing here!
