that issue will never be solved unless women make it a red line issue. they complain about pockets but still buy without them so no reason to change anything.
i have returned clothes and refused to buy them because of bad pockets. no pockets makes the trousers useless to me . why would i want trousers that i can only wear going somewhere that i know i will not need to bring anything with me or back. that never happens

First thing I check after trying on clothes is the pockets. If I don't find them to my liking I will not be purchasing/keeping the pants. I need good deep pockets to hold all my crap. How do people lice without pockets?

Sometimes it's hard to find pants that fit you, and when you finally do find a pair, and the pockets suck, you'll keep them. I would much rather buy pants that fit me perfectly then not having pants at all.
Not to mention women's pants are constructed with cheaper materials, and sewn with terrible quality compared to men's pants.
I once tried on a pair of my brother's jeans as a joke, and was shocked there wasn't raw edges on the inside. I showed him my jeans and he was like "How can you even stand the feeling of the raw edges?" Had to tell him that all women's jeans are like this, even high quality ones. He finally understood why we were always buying new pants. Not to mention the material is much thinner and gets worn through faster.

This constantly annoys me. Women will complain about not having pockets, but it's like "well who decided to buy clothes without pockets? You? So you decided not to have pockets and now you're mad about it."
