Inexpensive, underpowered cars that get great gas mileage are totally underappreciated. I owned a '94 Geo Metro. I've since owned better quality cars and overall better performing cars, but the Metro is still my favorite car of all time. I don't understand how, but that thing went through snow way better than any other car I've owned. I regularly drove around people stuck in the snow in more expensive cars, and not all of them were from Texas, Florida or California. It was hilarious.

Oh, jeez... I had one of those. Not my 1st, though. It was orange. It kept me in the poor house the whole time I owned it. Was so glad to see it finally go. Graduated into a Chevy Nova after that. Much better. SO much better!!!

I had one new in '78, put 133K on the odometer in 30 months, was rear-ended and lived but it bent the frame a bit, went through 8 tires, 2 starters and an alternator, tried and failed to plug an oil leak.
