Inexpensive, underpowered cars that get great gas mileage are totally underappreciated. I owned a '94 Geo Metro. I've since owned better quality cars and overall better performing cars, but the Metro is still my favorite car of all time. I don't understand how, but that thing went through snow way better than any other car I've owned. I regularly drove around people stuck in the snow in more expensive cars, and not all of them were from Texas, Florida or California. It was hilarious.

The only car I ever bought brand new was a 1990 Geo Metro; I had a blast driving it! I'd drive nearly 500 miles once a month to visit my parents and regularly got nearly 50MPG. Loved driving the mountain roads in Colorado too, downshifting into 2nd around the tight hairpin turns and back up again on the straight. There are certainly times I wish I still had it!
