1958 Austin Healey Bug-Eye Sprite. I was 13, it was a basket case. Literally every part of it except the wheels had been removed and stacked inside it.
My dad said, "When that thing looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, it's yours, and you can drive it.
Took me 2 years, but I did it. After that, I'd tackle anything and fix it. Correctly. I've been an engineer for 50 years because of that.
