I think you are in shock a bit, because because it’s hard to believe that one’s partner is capable of this, and you’re underreacting. He is a predator. You are not safe with this man. I’m sorry this happened to you. You’ve got to leave denial behind, leave him and block him. Never speak to him again. Go to the the hospital, tell them exactly what happened and show them the marks, get tests. There’s a reason he chose an 18-year-old to abuse. It’s because you have less life experience, statistically easier to victimize. You’re a strong woman, he is mentally ill and dangerous.

You do not need to overthink a breakup. Tell him it’s over and to stay away from you. Block him. No explanations required no matter what he says. Do not give him any ways to send you messages and try to reel you in with manipulation. You’re smart, trust your instincts.

Rest of his lifes not going to happen for that offense. But yeah need to go to cops ans do what you can.
