Searching for 李景忠 online leads to the romanisation Jingzhong.
Note that the inscription on his father’s photograph says 畄貽景忠, which @dirchansky romanised as liú yí jǐng zhōng. One wonders why the family name was written as 畄貽 on the photograph and not as 李 on the passport.
It could be a mistake, somewhere. Perhaps he couldn’t write in Chinese so perhaps didn’t spot mistakes when clerks made them. My grandfather says about him: « Il avait appris environ deux mille caractères de chinois afin de pouvoir lire un article de presse ou une lettre non-officielle. » 2000 characters is not a lot?
