2006-09-09 Limits of Thunderbird

When I returned to the office after about two months of holidays, I had more than 16’000 mails waiting for me, and less than 200 of them were not spam. Everything else was spam. I don’t have exact number since ThunderBird crashed twice during this time. πŸ™ I spent more or less the entire day waiting for my mail to arrive. My mail is stored on an IMAP server, so spam filtering requires Thunderbird to download every single one of them.
