April 14th, 2024 - I create a project called RWS-Tools, this project is a fun and experimental project for expanding Radio Web Services (RWS) (you can read more on my other blog post) through the development of tools and applications. My well goal is to inspire and provide resources for the community.
RWS-Tools is an open-source collection of Python scripts and applications that I am developing alongside my AI helper to enhance and extend Radio Web Services project. With a focus on experimentation and creativity, my project hopefully aims to add value by creating tools and resources that can help fellow hams.
In the spirit of transparency, I do want to share that my role in my own project, RWS-Tools is not that of an expert Python programmer or a seasoned developer but rather that of an eager learner and enthusiast. As you might have gathered, I am quite committed to diving into the depths of programming and AI, using RWS-Tools as a platform for my exploration and growth.
As such most of the code and or projects I'm working on are led by Code AI's. I run them either locally on my GPU or over the cloud. I have the ideas in my head, but I can't get them into code. AI's help a lot, then I can tweak it from then on.
My first program released built with Python is a simple Base64 decoder, which decodes all sorts of different files and also decodes HTML files. Let's the user easily see them in the browser right from the program.
I am always interested to expand the project with maybe a gopher server that runs? Maybe you can have it decode each html then store it and launch a LAN gopher server to easily see all the decoded files.
This is a short one, I don't have a whole lot to say too much, but feel free to check the project here
