I had a whale of a time recently. First my desktop completely freezes on login, then I have an old Windows XP machine that needs a replacement disk drive. I had since installed Windows 10 Ghost Spectre in its Superlite StartIsBack config, and it's worked like a charm thus far.
The XP? Unfortunately, that's a whole other story, as it's a Hewlett Packard OEM design that lets you into the hardware, but not actually replace it. A friend of mine is ready to help with that tho. For now, though, I have DOS 6.22 running on it, while I wait for the chance to get a USB floppy drive.
Reason I say that is because I can use the PLOP boot manager to run an install of LastXP via USB.
