Two ways of using WebDAV are confirmed to work with this wiki. Add more, if you’ve tried it.

On the command line: cadaver

If you have access to a command line client like cadaver, connect to “https://transjovian.org:1965/test”. You will be asked for credentials if you try to make changes in the “/raw” or “/file” folders. Provide any username you want (it is ignored) and the token “hello” as the password. Make sure you have the EDITOR environment variable set if you want to use the “edit” command inside cadaver.

Using Gnome

⚠ A word of warning: please be extra slow with switching folders. All the requests by “Files” make Phoebe’s “Speed Bump” extension very suspicious and you’re going to be blocked in no time. If that happens, wait for a few minutes before continuing.

If you are using Gnome Files, your first URL must already authenticate you. Use “davs://transjovian.org:1965/login”.

Connect to the server

Provide any username you want (it is ignored) and the token “hello” as the password.

Login using the token

The “login” folder is empty. It is just there so that the connection is made with a login.

Empty login folder

One directory up, you see all the wiki spaces (“anthe”, “elpher”, “gemini”, …) as well as the folders used for the main space (“file”, “page”, “raw”).

The root folder

Switch to the test space.

The test folder

In order to edit a page, we need to visit the “raw” folder.

The test/raw folder

Edit the page using a text editor.

Edit a file

Save and close. You are done!
