Currently the local wikis have no “talk” pages unless you add one. You could add one at the bottom of this page, for example, by simple adding a link:

=> Comments%20on%20Discussions Comments

If you don’t think this is necessary, remember that before Wikipedia wikis never had separate “talk” pages. Discussion simply happened on the page itself. Just add a heading and start talking:

## Discussion

As for the discussion itself, you have two styles to choose from.

Letter style, with a signature at the end:

Use this style if you have one ore more paragraphs to say and end with your signature.

– Alex

Use white space to separate your comment from the next.

– Alex, again

Sign as “anon” or “anonymous” if you don’t want to give a name, just so people know that this is where a statement ends.

– anon

Direct speech style, with a name at the front, possibly with Unicode characters:

🗩 Alex: “Good for short replies.”

🗨 Alex: “Awkward if you want multiple paragraphs, for sure. Perhaps Unicode characters help.”

Traditionally, people signed their statements with their username which automatically linked to a page of theirs where people could leave comments or find their email address. You can still do that! Just keep the signature close to your statement.

I did not write this!

-> Timur: while these unicode characters are great, it's not always easy to type them. What about using arrows?

← Alex: actual unicode arrows are also great. I did not write this though.

→ Alex: I guess any Unicode character or Emoji will do as far as I am concerned. Just use something that pops a little, I'd say.
