Settled in; new home, new chapter

I wrote a few months ago about how I was moving in with my partner[2] and how I wanted to pick up a copy of The Beatles' Rubber Soul (1969) to mark the occasion - done [1].

We've been living together for a little over four months now and I think we're both really happy with the situation. As it was her place for a while before the both of us, we didn't want it to stay feeling like hers and not ours, so we've redecorated some parts and shuffled some things around. I bought the motorised legs component for a standing desk and mounted this on an old IKEA wooden desktop I had to build an optional standing desk in the second bedroom that doubles up as a home office. And we've setup my vinyl soundsystem in the lounge, and since purchased a few more records together:

The home office is really peaceful and a nice place where I spend most of my working days. We've mounted some framed graphic designs on the wall to give it more of a creative space feel, and so many of my houseplants I've crammed in there as well - a palm, and a few overflowing spiderplants hanging on the shelves.
