Recently I got an electric scooter, and I've been zipping all over with it. Within the first few times of taking it out I've already put over 60 miles on it. I have a car, but the scooter has become my go to for shorter trips or when I don't need to carry a lot of cargo. I just took it out to the store this morning to grab some bread., it's great for little quick errands.

Of note, they will generate some heat as you ride them, so really the only thing you need to worry about is letting your scooter sit in the cold with a depleted battery. 路 4 days ago
@darkghost I don't think it should be a huge concern, especially if you bring the battery inside, which you should, so it doesn't get stolen.
Freezing is bad of course, but bar that, we are talking such low current, that it shouldn't lose more than 10-15%. 路 4 days ago

darkghost: As long as you're dressed for it you should be fine. Though Hanzbrix brings up a good point about ice. Especially if you're on something high powered. But many have settings that can counter that, like traction control (My G2 Max has this) or the ability to set your accelleration to be softer, as well as how much power you put to the wheels.
That said, as long as you're not trying to ride on icy road / sidewalk, and you're dressed for the weather, you should be fine. As for the scooter, the only thing I could see being effected there is you might have a bit less battery due to the cold. 路 5 days ago
@darkghost I think the only worry with freezing temps, is that the crazy torque and tiny wheels of electric scooters, will most likely make you wipe out. 馃槀

It's winter here with temps routinely < -10掳C (~10掳F). Do you think that's too cold to scooter in or am I being a wimp? 路 5 days ago
