This thread is spread out all over, but well worth taking the time to follow the links.
I for one am absolutely done with being shut down by apathetic boomers and millenials. The outernet (great coining, lol) is no retirement home for defeated loosers who have aged out of relevance. We built the web, they broke it - so we're building another one. Goonies *never* say die.
