My capsule has yet again gone down along with the entire cluster array of SDF servers, basically as soon as I had published a new article on aggregators. How embaressing. Maybe this is the push I need to host my own server like ive been planning. Ive hosted public MC servers before where people could enter in my computers public IPv4 open port number to connect. I think I can handle getting the service up and porting forward geminis port. Its getting a domain name set up that i've never done before. Any website maintainers have suggestions with name providers or just in general?

Ok, I must rescind my Namecheap suggestion. Or reinforce it, if that happens to be your thing.

They just kicked *every* Russian off their service because they absolutely have to stick it to Putin in particular, even through his hostages. Now I have to transfer the domains I have with them out by the 6th of March. Obviously, they're not promising a refund either. 路 2 years ago

Namecheap is a good one. I can also recommend gandi.net -- their slogan is literally "no bullshit": https://www.gandi.net/en-US/no-bullshit and in the years I've had domains with them that checked out. 路 2 years ago

I've not had any trouble yet with Namecheap, though I regret that their UI does not work without Javascript. 路 2 years ago
