It would be cool to know how many people visit my site on a daily basis, but also I know im a person that gets too caught up with numbers and statistics to the point I would obsess over it or somehow view it like a 'score' in a game.

Yeah! It's really easy to get caught up in doing things for the """engagement""" instead of because you think it's worthwhile. 路 2 years ago

Yeah, I go on the SmolNet and Neocities to escape that. I don鈥檛 know how many views my site and capsule get, and frankly, I don鈥檛 care. I鈥檓 just happy they鈥檙e there for netsurfers to stumble upon, and hopefully appreciate. 路 2 years ago

It's interesting to check every once in a while to get an idea of how many people might be browsing geminispace. But yeah you definitely need restraint to not turn it into a numbers game.

Last I checked my logs a couple months ago I was getting ~400 requests a day. Don't know how many unique visitors that translates to though since I'm not logging IPs. 路 2 years ago

Make your capsule maximally interesting. The people WILL visit. 路 2 years ago
