Rather astonished by the lack of SonicPi music on Gemini... Both of these are text based, they should go together sooo well! Or is it me who doesn't know how to use the search engines on here? Maybe I'll start a SonicPi capsule, once I'm good enough then... Anyone else here who likes SonicPi?

@gordonguthrie: Aaaah right! As I use SonicPi to make covers of pop songs, I'd forgotten about its primary use: live coding for live music! OK then, I'll accept the cookies from Soudcloud (temporarily), and give it a try tonight! ;) · 2 years ago
you won't be able too @nono it's live coding, that's the result of a gig not the source · 2 years ago
@gordonguthrie: Thanks! Tried listening to your track, but the site asked that I allow cookies... Maybe you could post some of your SonicPi tracks as text on Gemini? Cheers! · 2 years ago

I'd love to see such a capsule. Please update when you make one! · 2 years ago
@ew0k: You're probably right! This might be a good incentive to get better at it, he heee! Give it try. It is somewhat of a programming language, but unlike the others it doesn't take that much time to actually make something. The app features an excellent *built-in* tutorial, and within an hour you'll have your first track! If after that, you decide don't like the program, you'll have lost only an hour... Really, if you've been interested for years, give it just one hour, and you'll know... Me, I'll have to first finish my cover of "Stranger In A Strange Land" by The Byrds (I'm halfway there I think), then I'll start a capsule! :) · 2 years ago
Start one! Don’t wait until you’re ”good enough”! You already are 😄 I’ve been curious about SonicPi for years, but never enough to learn it myself. I’d absolutely love to read about your experiences with it and listen to your tracks · 2 years ago
