I don't know any better alternatives, but recently trying to setup new local fediverse node by tootik. It promise to be interesting at least for external feed subscriptions, but lot of UI issues found, when I'm not familiar with Go and not inspired to learn it soon. Anyway, I think that fediverse apps would be really good option. 路 1 week ago
