Somehow funny but also sad: cannabis will probably be legalized in Germany. However, you are not allowed to consume it within 100 meters of schools, sports facilities, kindergartens and the like. The result looks like this on a map (red areas prohibited). Take a look at the city center of Berlin. It's not my topic, but is something like this supposed to be practicable? Is it done similarly in other countries?

think this law is bs... you are allowed to own 50g of weed? who tf smokes 50 except of snoop dog in a day? and tf again, you can get a bottle of booze for around 4 euros, ever drank 0,7l 40% alcohol? and then compare it to 4€ of weed instead... · 8 months ago
It's impossible to control. So if the authorities will not see you smoking weed, you will very probably be fine. · 8 months ago
Here in the US, it's treated the same as most states treat alcohol: you can only consume it on private property. · 8 months ago
Cannabis consumption on the street is entirely illegal here in the Netherlands, which may surprise anyone who's ever ridden on the Amsterdam metro, but it's true. It turns out that tourists don't know about those laws, either. · 8 months ago
