Day 2 in Hamburg: breakfast in a cat caf茅, walked around the city a bit and walked into a triathlon competition, spent the entire day in the Kunsthalle. The William Blake temporary exhibition was amazing.

@melyanna just ask if you are going to bavaria/oberpfalz, as a local hero i know some really nice spots where you will meet no tourists ;) and we have a loooooot of nice beer brands xD 路 4 months ago
@yamato that sounds like a dream. I am only ever visiting Japan for work but I would really like a proper non-work related visit soon. 路 4 months ago
@bavarianbarbarian noted and actively considering it for the weekend! I will let you know if we end up going. The family of my partner is in the vicinity of Frankfurt so I will have many opportunities to go. 路 4 months ago
@melyanna dunno where your trip is going, but i could recommend Regensburg to visit when you are going to bavaria. there is lot of stuff to visit, the walhalla, the old town (not bombed in WW2, still original), the befreiungshalle, the wurstkuchel (oldest fast food restaurant in the world), the klosterbrauerei weltenburg, developers of the famous Eisbock (a special beer, you should better not try if you are a non experienced beer drinker, hard stuff), the stone bridge and the cathedrale. 路 4 months ago
@melyanna Nice, and in which stay stay well away from coworking spaces and have a great time :) 路 4 months ago
@martin I am taking some time off to explore the world and recharge as I worked my arse off this year. Thank you for the recommendation though, it might come in handy in the future when I travel again. I expect that in the next few months my life might turn more nomadic. 路 4 months ago
I'm sure you're not, but if you're looking for a good co-working spot to hang out at, I love the Betahaus there. It's in Sternschanze, which itself reminds me so much of Berlin. 路 4 months ago
