As eleventh-century Persia already experimented with propaganda it's clear that we are a bit on the backfoot to figure out if we are being played by a bigger force.
It will be to late once we start to shoot at eachother. Until then, those of us who are not yet shooting, stil have time to come up with a plan. We just don't have 9 centuries to roll back all the bullshit.

Ah yes, propaganda, a thing famously only invented in the past thousand years. Before then, people communicated exclusively through dispassionate and objective recitations of fact, especially concerning political ideas and historical events. · 8 months ago
