I seem to be having trouble syncing message history in Gajim. If I recieve messages while Gajim isn't running, it won't show them. It says there aren't any messages. I'm on a server that supports MAM, and I can sync history on Conversations just fine. I think I'm doing something wrong, but I'm not sure what.

Okay it looks like I actually was doing something wrong! The sync threshold for the MUC was set to "1 day." So I changed it to "no threshold" and restarted gajim and now messages are synced between my phone and desktop.
I still can't see any history from before I installed gajim. but I think that's a different problem, and one that impacts my experience significantly less. so, woo! · 1 year ago
