In other news, I passed my Thai motorbike license. I've been riding the past 8 months in Asia without a license (very common), but in Chiang Mai especially, it's hard to do that as there are an insane amount of traffic police here. Glad to be doing it "officially" now :)

@dragfyre Yeah, it's not like Thailand at all in the sense that here they stop lots of foreigners (and locals) to check for licenses. In Vietnam they don't stop nearly as often, and even if you do have a license, they might still try to get you to pay them. I didn't have a single issue in Vietnam. 路 3 months ago

Hahaha everyone who I ask about getting a Vietnamese driving license tells me not to bother. "Best to get a <50cc bike" and skirt under the limit where you need a license, they say ;) 路 3 months ago

@dragfyre Thanks! I learned on "hard mode" in Vietnam the past 6 months, so passing it here wasn't so bad. Thai traffic is way more organised :) 路 3 months ago
